Bud and June

It's the month of June.
I miss my old neighbors that lived down the street from us when we lived on Mohican St. in Hayward, CA. They were like grandparents. Always there when we needed them, and I'm sure they enjoyed the company too. Their grandson Taylor visited them occassionally and Bud was always talking about how we were going to get married when we grew up. Haha silly adults. One day after walking home from middle school there was a raccoon blocking our front door and I couldn't get in. I chucked a few oranges at it and it wouldn't budge. And yes I pegged the creature everytime with my amazing softball skills but no luck. So I decided to go over to Bud And June's house until my parents would get home from work. June made me a casper (hot dog) while we sat there and talked. I also remember their RV camper that they kept parked in the driveway. Bud was a carpenter and was always building/crafting something. He was very talented, but more importantly catered to my brother and I. He would let us come over and bug him for hours on end and our favorite- play in the saw dust. He called my brother "michael J Fox" and me "Sara Lee".  One night we went over to watch "mouse trap" while taylor was visiting. They also had family up in 7 hills, and there was a little girl named Cheyenne at their anniversary party. These are all just random memories but I wanted to type them out while I could still remember them. The last time I saw Bud and June was at their new house in manteca after taking a tour of CSU-Stanislaus my senior year of high school.
